BEFORE:
Heavy peeling and blistering throughout this Victorian facade is evident in every corner. Some of the bricks are chalky and very fragile. Walls and windows alike are worn out by the elements, faded and in rough shape.
To save this Victorian exterior from major costly reconstruction, proper surface preparation is key. Our team of painters assessed the condition of the bricks and pressure washing along with scraping and sanding the entire area quickly followed lead.
Five sections of scaffolding were erected in front of the house because this 3 storey Victorian house is 30 ft + tall and using ladders at such heights would not be as safe and fast as using scaffolding. Special masonry primer was used on more than 80% of the surface so a proper adhesion of the top coat would be assured.
