Everything is custom cut to fit the curve of the staircase and rounded walls. All hardwood installations are according to manufacturer's specifications. Including changing direction depending on what direction the floor beams underneath the subfloor go.

The hardwood floor should always criss cross the beams or it can be laid under a 45 degree angle. Otherwise hardwood warranty is VOID!
